TI-84 Plus Tutorials

I'm very excited to announce that my new book is now available on Amazon. You can pick it up in Kindle format. It's all about getting started on the TI-84+ graphing calculator. It's called TI-84+ Tutorials: The TI-84+ for Beginners. I started thinking about writing a tutorials book for the TI-84+ when Texas Instruments announce that they were going to release the new color TI-84+C. All of the screen captures were done with the TI-84+C, so they are in high resolution color. However, all of the instructions will work for both the black and white models of the TI-84+ as well as the TI-84+C. There are a few exceptions, such as the ability graph in color and on photographs, but for the most part, all of the directions do work for both.

If you are reading this shortly after I post it, I have additional good news. I am making the book available free for 5 days starting on July 25. If you are seeing this after July 29, don't worry, the book will be regularly priced at just $4.99. Thanks for your support. I have really enjoyed writing these graphing calculator books, and your purchases have allowed me to continue writing.

TI-83+ Review Update

I have finally done a TI-83 Plus review update. Can you believe that the TI-83+ is still the #3 selling graphing calculator on Amazon? Until the last couple of days, it was actually #2. Shocking. Hopefully, this is the year, that it starts to get really pushed farther down the ladder because it really does not belong in the same conversation with the TI-84, let alone the TI-Nspire or the Casio Prizm.

Best Math Movies

I've created a Top 10 list of the best math movies of all time. I used a Wikipedia article and Rotten Tomatoes to help me figure out which movies were the best. You can read which movies I though were the best ones by following the link above. I've also created a YouTube video that goes along with it. You can check that out below. Enjoy!

Over at Tech Powered Math, I've got a new TI-Nspire CX review. It's basically an update of the old review, but it does include some new information, including an updated video, which I'm embedding below, and you can also check it out on YouTube.
Hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you think it the comments!
