Best Retro Gaming

The original Xbox is a fondly remembered
retro gaming system
OK, so I'm shifting my focus with this post a little bit, toward a different technology, classic video games. Yeah, that's right, I'm giving into the wave hitting the nation, retro gaming. I've actually started work on a new retro gaming site, Retrified Games.

There are so many directions to go with this, it is hard to even know where to start. However, I'm focused on the data of classic gaming. What does the data show that people are playing? Who is sharing these games on Facebook? What's the difference between a Mario game and a Sonic game? What's trending on YouTube? Again, there are a lot of directions to go.

So while I'm far from having it all figured out, I hope you'll join me on the journey. Check out Retrified Games and like it on Facebook or follow on Twitter to learn more. To start, I'm looking at game systems from the NES through the PS2 and everything in between (even some "forgotten systems" like the Turbografx/PC Engine, Sega Dreamcast, and many others). I hope to see you there.

TI-84 Plus CE Review

The TI-84 Plus CE has been out for nearly a year now, and it is going strong. The 84 family continues to be one of the most popular graphing calculators on the market, and this newest edition is no exception. Now that the 84 has been slimmed down and had color added, it is once again a worthy competitor to the other competition that been passing it by in recent years. If you'd like to read more about what is new with the 84 CE, check out this TI-84 Plus CE Review. It'll tell you more about what distinguishes this model from previous generations of the TI-84 Plus.
